My boss won’t stop cursing- his computer blue-screened and he hasn’t hired a new IT guy yet, and he’s just got this awful mouth on him. I don’t like it when people curse, I guess. It’s irksome. Plus, when my boss is in a bad mood, the coffee machine on the ground floor stops working. There’s something supernatural going on there.

Sometimes I complain that my life isn’t a novel. Sometimes it’s because other people seem to be hiding something magical about their own lives. I like the cards I was dealt… But it’d be so much more fun to have a bad hand and have to struggle to make it good than to just be born with a medium hand and just stick with it. You know?
